Choosing Reasons

A close friend I had high school had recommended the school to me stating how it would align with my goals in pursuing the international relations major.
11 months ago Name:An******* From :Myanmar
Reasons from Reasons from S***********

My name is Aliyu Salisu Ibrahim, a teacher, business man, and an activist. The founder of the Organization, the Ungogo Participatory Development Initiative (UPDI) the organization that offers some vocational training courses to the local youths to increase their employability chances, makes some education interventions & Programmes, and helps in resolving some conflicts within the community.
Having been part and parcel in some instances we use the medium of our organization, the UPDI, in resolving some local conflicts within the community and solving some or problems. I started to develop interest in acquiring more knowledge and skills as regards conflicts resolution. This, I believe will make me more sophisticated and well prepared in rendering this type of service, be it in my locality, nation or even at the international level. The international Relations course, indeed, will be of great importance to me, as it is the ultimate tool for any conflicts resolution officer.
Just of a recent, there were some military coups syndrome in my region, the West Africa, some democratically elected governments were toppled by their respective military personnel. It all started in Mali, Burkina-Faso, Guinea and Niger Republic. Almost, all the military Juntas in these ries claimed to have overthrown their respective civilian governments purposely to enforce a full scale independence their erstwhile colonial masters (the French). Immediately, after the announcement of the Niger coup, the heads of the States of the West African ries, under the umbrella of the Economic Community of the West African States. (ECOWAS), had a summit in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, condemned the coup and called for the restoration of the civilian government. However, the ECOWAS had to employ the services of some clergy men and traditional leaders who up-till-now couldn’t succeed in making the military men succumb to the ECOWAS mission.
Also, the states of the matters, globally, is fast warg in the areas of politics, economy, region, tribalism and even regionalism. We hear of Eastern bloc and Western bloc we hear of the BRICS and the Dollar possible tango, the Russia and Ukraine war, the Iran and the Middle Eastern States, the North and South Koreas. These and many more globally issues, including the natural disasters like the floods, the tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanic, droughts, etc.
These issues are nothing but some gestures drawing the attention of the global leaders and human beings in general to prepare some more personnel in the areas of conflicts resolutions and general interventions. This is very necessary because of the current challenges and many other possible ones ahead of the human race.
In my view of these, we foresee some great calamities inevitably approaching the human race as a result of the handiworks of man himself on this earth and natural disasters. The world will have to prepare for those future problems which will have to be met with enough and well-trained personnel in the areas of intervention, reconciliation and enforcement of international laws and orders.
As an activist, and servant of humanity, whose ultimate ambitions is to see-to-it that, my fellow human beings are peacefully living their lives on this glove. I therefore, need to be more educated and up-skilled in those areas and so also strongly need to apply to this university to study this major, the International Relations in Chinese University as the only avenue through which to achieve my goal.
Thank you.
